Introducing our new supplier... Indigo Fabric
We are delighted to be adding Indigo Fabrics to our list of suppliers of high quality fabrics!
Indigo Fabrics is a
Spanish company producing high quality, digitally printed, cotton fabrics for
patchwork & quilting and dressmaking. The main difference between these and
other manufacturers’ fabric is the width: Indigo fabrics are 150cm wide
compared to the standard 110-112cm so you get 35% extra in the fabric width!
We have four collections in stock.
The first three ranges are printed on a patchwork weight (110gr) cotton.
Cute llamas with cactus coordinates and an Inca stripe in a tight colour palette of hot pink and cool greys.
Indigo Lifestyle
An eclectic mix
of countryside and curios. Perfect for cushions, aprons and other home dec
items.
Country Linen Look
Garnet red
motifs on a linen look ground. Note that this a patchwork weight cotton, not
linen, it just looks very convincing!
Heavy Weight Cottons
These 100% cotton solids are slightly shorter (55"/140cm) than the printed
fabrics, but still over 25% more than our standard width solids. The “Half
Panama” weave means there are two warp yarns over each weft, which gives the
fabric a uniform look with more surface interest than a standard square weave.
They look gorgeous and the heavier fabric weight (200gr/m2) makes them perfect
for home decor projects, embroidery and accessories. Note that the “Linen” colour
(7742-36) still retains the cotton husks, giving it a lovely, natural texture.
Crudo (meaning raw, 7742-35) also has tiny bits in the thread, but to a much
lesser extent.
We're really thrilled to be changing it up a bit with these new collections and we hope you are just as excited to try them as we are! Be sure to tag us in your projects on Instagram and Facebook so we can see how you're getting on with these lovely cottons!
Happy Creating!
