Atelier De France; Celebrating 20 Years of French General
Atelier De France is the new collection from Moda Fabrics celebrating the 20th Anniversary of one of our favourite designers, French General.
Kaari (AKA French General) has chosen a selection of her favourite prints and wovens from her antique fabric collection and coloured them in the classic French General palette of old reds, pinks and neutrals.
French General began designing fabric and quilt patterns for Moda in 2008 with their first collection, Rouenneries. Since then, Kaari and her husband JZ have designed over 30 collections and 60 quilt patterns.
Filled with old French florals, petite prints, stripes and borders, the French General fabric collections are inspired by historical document fabrics but colored in a fresh new way. Each collection features a shade of red, which has become synonymous with the French General brand.
To celebrate their 20th Anniversary, French General have designed the beautiful Atelier De France Celebration Sampler Quilt, which is available as a kit.
The kit is presented in a beautiful box covered in designs from the collection, and perfect for storing your work-in-progress in.
Included is over .. metres of fabric across 29 different designs to make the 61" x 78" quilt, as well as the pattern booklet.
We also have the collection available in 5" Charm Packs, 10" Layer Cakes and 2 1/2" Strip rolls. Alternatively you can pick up our Fat Quarter Bundle which features 20 of our favourite fabrics from the collection, or buy it by the metre.
