Renee Nanneman Fabrics

Renee Nanneman is a fabric designer for Andover Fabrics and runs Need'l Love, a quilting and needlework store. We are expanding our patchwork quilting fabric designers page and have created a new page for Renne Nanneman fabrics. Her latest fabric range is called Petite Bees and is in stock now. 

This new collection of smart, but simple designs is designed by Renee Nanneman  Petite Bees features just three designs, each in five colours - scattered bees, a pretty trailing floral design and a tiny gingham check - in a selection of neutral and honey tones. Fabrics are £12.40/m and we also have two Fat Quarter bundles of six fabrics - choose from Gold and Neutral, £18.95 each. 

Renee has also designed these charming Petite Beehive Lap quilts. There are two colourways available: Taupe (below left) and Gold. The finished size is 37-1/2" x 37-1/2". Our kits include all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding. £39.95 each. 

We also stock the very popular Cottage Cloth blenders range designed by Renee. Cottage Cloth fabric has the look of a slubby, woven texture printed on 100% premium quilting cotton in rich saturated colours.

Renee has excelled again with another new collection for later in the year (August/September) called Wildflower Cottage, featured in last week’s newsletter. The Wildflower Cottage quilt uses all but one of the fabrics in the quilt top and binding. Recommended for advanced quilters, our kit includes all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding and Renee’s pattern.  

Nancy Rink has also been inspired to use Wildflower Cottage to create this beautiful, 85" x 85" Juliette quilt, designed as a Block-of-the-Month programme. 

The first instalment will be despatched in late August/early September. This will include Nancy’s pattern booklet along with the fabrics for blocks 1 to 3. The second instalment (blocks 4 to 7) will be despatched in November and the third and final instalment (block 8, borders and binding) in February 2026. 

Also included is an applique pack for the applique elements featured in the large, central block. These fabric patches are laser cut and have a fusible backing, making it much easier to recreate Nancy’s pretty floral design.

You can join the programme now with a deposit of £25. A further payment of £99 is charged for each of the instalments, making a total cost of £322 for the programme.
