Emery Walker's House Fabrics

Inspired by the love between friends and the legacy of a truly historic home, Emery Walker’s House fabric collection from Morris & Co. introduces new designs and colourways to Free Spirit’s growing collection of Arts & Crafts fabrics. Heritage tones of green and blue come to the fore, with warm russets accenting the designs. Drawing on archive classics, Morris & Co. have created a captivating and historic fabric range, re-scaled to be perfect for patchwork and quilting and home decor.

If it all sounds a little familiar it is because earlier this year Free Spirit released a collection called Emery Walker that has different designs and colours (more of that later). This latest collection, Emery Walkers House, is a 15 piece collection, available by the metre at £16/m. We have a selection of pre-cuts too: a 15 piece Fat Quarter bundle, a 30 piece, 5" Charm pack and 10" Patchwork Palette (two of each design).

Linda McGibbon has, once again, used her creative talents to produce a captivating quilt using this Emery Walker’s House together with some William Morris classics. This time she has moved away from the medallion format to create a free-flowing, bargello-style design called Garden Pathways. It is a larger, pieced quilt at 95" x 95" with over 15.5m of fabric in the kit, including the binding, plus the pattern. 

Pre-ordered Garden Pathways quilts will be shipping this week. It is available to pre-order once again for delivery at the end of January when more stock of the William Morris classics used in the quilt will be available. There is a £25 deposit and a balance of £250.95 to pay on despatch.
