2020 Quiltalongs: Edyta Sitar Super Bloom

Next up from our 2020 Quiltalongs is this stunning traditional quilt by Edyta Sitar...

If you love Edyta Sitar’s traditional quilt designs you are going to love this new range called Super Bloom. It is a delightful group of pretty floral prints in blue and pinks with lots of supporting lighter tones. The result is a collection that acknowledges its traditional inspiration, but with a light and delicate vibe. The Super Bloom collection will not be available until February, but if you would like to join our Quiltalong to make this beautiful Super Bloom quilt below you will need to register before 7th January 2020. The quilt is a mix of traditional piecing and applique.

The quilt is divided into 9 blocks plus the background and border fabric. The fabric will be dispatched in three instalments: 

March: Edyta’s Super Bloom pattern and the fabrics to complete blocks 1-3 (plus extra fabric for future blocks)

June: Fabric to complete blocks 6-9

October: Fabric for the star triangles, background, border and binding plus optional backing. 

The Quiltalong is charged in three instalments in March, June and October when the fabrics are dispatched. The cost is £59.95 per instalment which includes postage. If you choose the optional backing an additional £49 will be added to the third instalment. There is also an non refundable registration fee of £9.95.
