What's New - Spring 2018

Life often begins to get busier as summer draws closer and it can be difficult to keep up with everything that's going on around you. Therefore we thought it would be helpful to have a round-up post of recent collections, kits, packs and offers that we've released throughout April and May so you know you're still in the loop!

1) Grunge

We have expanded our Grunge collection! There are now 48 gorgeous colours, textures and shadings to explore. From Lemongrass to Butterscotch and Pear to Evergreen we've got you covered, be it on the bolt or in a fat quarter pack.

2) Ansio Offers

Jazz up your sewing space with these fabulously colourful cutting mats from Ansio; practical, pretty and a total steal! For a limited time you can buy any coloured A1 foldable cutting mat and get a double sided A3 mat for free!

We’ve got new Ansio Mix & Match Mat & Cutter Sets on the A2 Double Sided Mats and Rotating Mats. Choose your mat type and colour and get a half-price rotary cutter in your favourite colour. 

We are very fussy about the rotary cutter we sell - these all have high grade (SKS9) steel so they are not just pretty to look at, but will stay sharp longer than “budget” brands.

3) Nostalgia Ranges 

We've got some new addition to our Nostalgia and Retro fabrics. These are either reproductions of fabrics from the 1920, 30's and 40's or they are stylistically similar. There's something that you can't help but love about these distinctive, quirky designs that transport you back to women in the 1920's, scrubbing the stamps off of used feed bags and transforming them into colourful cotton dresses. 4) Life's Journey

Life’s Journey by Jojo Coco Design for Dashwood Studio is inspired by peoples' lives, community and the different friendships made along the way.

These gorgeous fabrics are available by the metre and in a fat quarter bundle of all 8. You can find the collection here.

5) Roc-Lon 

We have a great selection of new craft fabrics in from Roc-Lon, including bleached and unbleached Muslins in 4 different widths, from 44 to 118 inches! 

These 100% cotton muslins are perfect for pattern making, bag lining, pillows and many other crafts. 

We also have ticking, flannel, osnaburg and duck cloth. You can find them all here.

6) Hoffman Pre-order Kits

Hoffman Fabrics produce some of the best hand-dyed Bali batiks and they have created these quilt kits to show them at their best.

The fabrics to create the dynamic “crystal” design below have been precision-cut with a laser-guided machine. All the cutting work is done, leaving the fun part for you — no templates, no paper, no math, no Y seams, no cut-off points and no guesswork! A quilter with basic techniques will be able to master these stunning projects.

7) Pauline

From designer L'Atelier Perdu: Pauline is the name I decided to give to one of the geese I designed in a cross-stitch sampler. The alphabet print (double border) in Pauline is a great way for one to combine a love of cross-stitching with the quilting world. The colour palette in Pauline features dusty blues and antique reds, paired with a beautiful share of mustard.

This beautiful range comes on the bolt and in a fat quarter pack - you can find them both here.

8) Singing the Blues

Did you know that you can search all the thousands of fabrics on our website based on your choice of colour? Simply hover over the fabric tab and select Browse By > By Colour. You can also Browse by Manufacturer, by Designer and by Style of Fabrics

We’ve just made Browsing by Colour even better by adding our first colour combo; Blue and White, and we want to show off all the stunning Blue and White fabrics available. We have some gorgeous new blue and white collections including Indi-glow and Bubble Grid.

9) Love Prym +  Spring Clean Sewing Room 

Be it rain or shine, the time has come to spring clean your sewing room! Whether you’re colour coding your cottons, re-winding those pesky bobbins, or stacking up your U.F.O’s, we’ve got some good-looking notions to brighten the place up once you’re done.

10) Something Blue
